Hawthorne Garden Design (HGD) focuses on the unique attributes of each garden site and enhances its beauty through well thought-out and executed designs. We pride ourselves in solving garden “challenges” and building out a design that works to fit the nature of the space and the needs of the client. These solutions add value to your property and enhance the enjoyment by its users. We use the highest quality plant and construction materials to produce beautiful gardens.
Founded in 2007 in Washington, DC and provides complete garden design services that include garden master plans (which include planting, grading, drainage, irrigation, lighting, water features, hardscape, and carpentry); construction management and post-construction site guidance.
Tamara Belt, Owner and Principal, collaborates with owners, masons, woodworkers and crews of gardeners to create high-quality outdoor spaces that will continue to please for years to come. She is passionate about plants, art and good design.
