Arbor | Hawthorne Garden

Design Intent:

Create area for seating off the upper level (kitchen exit) and a dining and seating area in the lower level.
Rework back garden for bike storage, replace fence, and regrade so water flows away from house and back steps

Implementation: A new deck was installed off the kitchen to accommodate café chairs and temporary storage. A lower level stone patio with walkway and bike storage was created to make different rooms. The bike storage was “hidden” behind a fence panel so from the upper deck a sweeping view of the garden is possible. Plantings were selected based on their low-maintenance and seasonal colorful blooms.
