Implementation: New planters, plantings and outdoor furniture transformed this rooftop deck.  The plantings were strategically placed to frame the sweeping view of downtown DC and block neighboring high rises.  Plantings softened the urban feel of the rooftop and made it an inviting entertaining space.  Irrigation was expertly installed under the roof tiles so that it was ‘invisible” to the user, but at the same time user-friendly for the client who doesn’t have to worry about running upstairs everyday to water in the summer.
